What to Expect
AB Foundation is an enlightened organization in a rural area. It has some institutions, socio-economic developmental projects, Child development centers, AB scholarship funding opportunity for alleviating poverty, illiteracy and creation of employment opportunities. AB Foundation works with people whose lives are dominated by extreme poverty, illiteracy, diseases and other handicaps – with a view to build up multifaceted development interventions.
The foundation strives to bring about positive changes in the quality of life in the society despite constraints of resource. AB Foundation approaches poverty alleviation with a holistic approach. To empower the poor it started a residential school at Chirirbandar in Dinajpur district – one of the most disadvantageous parts of the country. The project is very successful and the students of the school are doing very well proving that they can come forward beyond their imagination.
A B Foundation has been working in the mission to serve the poorest communities. It is a non-political, secular, socio-economic, healthcare and research based organization. It has been working to help the poor communities, disadvantageous freedom fighters and the poor students. To develop modern outlook in thinking and to establish a violence free society we are trying regardless of religion, race, creed and color.
We have been working at rural Dinajpur, Bangladesh, for the development of education and healthcare facilities for the most disadvantageous part of our country. Our vision is giving modern education, medical care facilities and vocational training to the underprivileged children of that neglected portion of Bangladesh (414 km away from capital city Dhaka) and thus alleviation of poverty, illiteracy and creation of employment opportunities.
Besides these the foundation has a lot of works on social concerns. Among them modern education and healthcare facilities are the most important areas to us. Because, most of the peoples of that remote area cannot afford to give their children proper education and healthcare.
